Delete your account
This is permanent. It cannot be undone, and there is no way to recover an account afterward.
In the app
If you still have the app
- Open the app.
- Go to Me.
- Choose Delete my account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app
Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account”. Send it from the email address on the account, so we can be sure the request is yours.
We confirm within 30 days.
What is deleted
What we remove
Deleting your account removes your profile, photos, prompts, criteria, connections, messages and verification status.
What survives
Two things remain, by design
- A record that two people must never be shown to each other again. It holds only two anonymous identifiers, and does not identify you. It exists so that someone who closed a connection with you is never shown your profile again if you return.
- Reports filed about an account, with the name removed. They stay on file so that safety concerns are not erased by deleting an account.
Neither identifies you once your account is deleted.
